Dave Wooder being the elder brother was destined to take to the race track first. It all began close to home at Buckmore park and Bayford meadows where he was soon crossing the finish line victorious on a regular basis.
It did not take long before he found himself travelling the length and breadth of the Country recording similar success.
Dave has only one aim in life and that is to progress to the ultimate level in motorsport. Next year in 2013 Dave will be moving from mini max to junior max in Britain and also competing in the very competitive RGMMC Euromax Challenge contested over four rounds in four different Countries, hoping to be one of the two Brits.qualifying for the World Finals.
It was the start of 2010 at the age of 8 years old that Luke Wooder was to follow in his brother's footsteps. In this debut season he won the Bayford Meadow Summer Clubman Championship by a convincing margin.
The following year he competed further afield, firstly winning the MBKC Gold Cup and then taking third spot in the Super One National Championships.
In 2012, at 10 years of age he won the Super One National Championships, the British Kartmasters Grand Prix and finished second in the ABKC National Open.
It is now approaching the end of 2012 and Luke is eagerly awaiting his 11th birthday so he can move up to the Rotox Mini Max class which caters for 11-16 year olds. This will clearly be the biggest challenge of his short career so far. Only time will tell if he has the ability, the courage, determination and committment to follow his ongoing dream.
